Digital Poetry (Elective)
Spring 2008
Professor Funkhouser

This course exposed us to the world of Digital Poetry, which is a comparatively new form of expression that uses technology in new ways. Our final project for the semester was to create our own work of Digital Poetry with an accompanying narrative that explains our inspiration for the work. I was most intrigued by the visual poems that used words and characters to actually illustrate the poem and visually tell the story, rather than being only used to verbally tell the story. I used many different letters and symbols to create new symbols and tell a simple story of a person's morning routine. This was created using Adobe Flash CS3.
