Newark, New Jersey
Fall 2005- 3rd Year
Professor Goldemberg

This project exposed us to the Maya 3D modelling software. We were asked to create a set of conceptual curves, a landscape, that would completely transform the existing landscape. The project called for a new dormitory for Rutgers-Newark, to be placed on the top of the hill of the campus, overlooking the soccer field. This automatically creates a large presence for the building within the city and the campus, so I developed a series of twisting towers that come up from the ground and interact with one another. Each of the 3 towers has a different interaction: separate, adjacent, and intersection.
